What is a domain name?
A domain is a specific virtual area within the Internet, defined by the "top
level" of the address or URL (Uniform Resource Locator). For example:
http://www.creation21.co.uk
There are two parts; the top level such as .com, .net, .co.uk, and the second
level which is the specific identifier such as, a company name (Creation21),
personal name, or any other identifying characters.
